Fillers and Cheekbones

In older people, filling in the cheekbones can relieve facial fatigue and restore facial contours. Filling the cheekbones will provide a subtly-looking lift for the entire face. Filling the cheekbones also creates softening in and around the nasolabial fold. This has a refreshing effect on the entire face.

In short, filling up the cheekbones therefore has the following effect:

  • Restoring the natural contours of the face
  • Soothing around the nasolabial fold
  • Highlighting the V-shape of the face

When filling the cheekbones, it is very important that it is done delicately. If the cheekbones are filled too much, they can become too 'high', which can look unnatural. Aēstec's doctors aim for the most natural-looking result.

At Aēstec, Juvéderm fillers are used to fill the cheekbones. With these fillers, you get a beautiful, subtle and sustainable result. Want to read more about the Juvéderm fillers? Then click here!

Suffering from a double chin?

Want a tighter jawline? Fillers in the chin and jawline may be the solution.

It has long been a popular treatment for both men and women, fillers in the chin and jawline.

For young people who themselves have an undefined jawline or retracted chin, it can be the solution and make a big difference! Chin and jawline fillers provide beautiful facial contours and a nice “and profile”. In addition, it will also reduce a double chin.

For men who think they have a too feminine face, jawline fillers can also offer a solution. The fillers can create a more angular jaw, making the face look more masculine.

For older people, chin and jawline fillers can restore contours and volume in the chin and jaw. As you get older, you lose facial volume and you may experience “bags” at the corners of the mouth and jawline. Chin and jawline fillers can fix this!

How long will the results last?

It differs per injectable how long the result is visible. For example, the result of a treatment with botox remains visible for less time than the result of a treatment with fillers. Logical, because they are two very different products. Want to know the differences between botox and fillers? Then click here and read the blog: “What's the difference between fillers and botox?”

In this blog, you can read all about the sustainability of an injectable treatment.

Durability of a treatment: Fillers

At Aēstec, we only work with Juvéderm fillers, the world's best-selling hyaluronic acid fillers. The result achieved with the use of this filler remains visible for approximately 18 to 24 months. In our article: How long will the results of an injectable treatment remain visible? we will delve deeper into this.

Juvéderm fillers are more expensive fillers than most other fillers. Ultimately, you will end up cheaper because the results of a treatment with Juvéderm fillers remain visible longer than a treatment with another cheaper filler. In addition, Juvéderm fillers are also safe and soluble if the result is not satisfactory.

Sustainability of a Botox treatment

The result of botox is less visible than the results of fillers. Botox therefore does something completely different than fillers: Botox relaxes the muscles so that wrinkles will disappear or be prevented preventively. The result will last for about 4 months. Then you can repeat the treatment to get the same result again.

Durability of a Profhilo treatment:

At Profhilo, it depends on the quality of the skin how long the results remain visible. We recommend that you repeat a Profhilo treatment once or twice a year to maintain the results.
