A coffee with Caroline Veenman-Willaert

I didn't start working until late, when the kids grew up. Now I'm a real estate agent and I'm following a coaching course, which I like even more. Helping people grow, give them confidence, and let them take control of their lives is something I love. I like to contribute in a respectful and honest way and wish this to everyone.

Did you have any insecurities?

Yes! There are a lot of things I would like to improve, but I want to stay myself! Only interventions that go too far are visible, and I definitely didn't want that. When done right, all you see is that someone looks fresh, but not exactly what has changed. This stopped me from taking the step for a long time. It's important to opt for subtle improvements that rejuvenate your overall picture without letting you see where the tinkering has been made. This also means that you're not tackling some areas, no matter how tempting that is.

What treatment did you do?

The Aēslift™ liquid facelift and some botox around the eyes to soften the deep lines.

How was the treatment?

I was quite afraid of it, especially fillers can be painful. I reported this to the doctor and first received Emla ointment to numb the skin. The injections also include anaesthetic. In the end, the treatment was not too bad. It was doable, and that's what someone who likes to run away from plucking eyebrows says.

Why did you choose Aēstec?

I've been following Aēstec on social media for a while now and didn't think any of the after-photos looked unnatural. So the choice was very obvious!

How do you further look at aging?

I have no problem with getting older. I'm 53 and I'm totally okay with that. I don't need to look 35, but I do want to look as good as possible for my age. Taking care of yourself with makeup, clothes, hair and nails is important to me, and in my opinion, a cosmetic treatment is also part of that. As long as it stays classy and tasteful!
